Influence: Late Middle English, from old French or from medieval latin, influencia ‘inflows’, from Latin influere, from in ‘into’ and fluere ‘to flow’. The word originally had the general sense of ‘an influx, flowing matter’, also specifically (in astrology) ‘the flowing in of ethereal fluid’ (affecting human destiny). The sense ‘imperceptible or indirect action exerted to cause changes’ was established in Scholastic Latin by the 13th century, but not recorded in English until late 16th century. Oxford dictionary.
In February 2003, I was traveling in India, I was mainly unhappy with my life which by the standards of many of us should have been blissful. My real bless was to be able to witness people from various cultures, countries, wealth, beliefs, people that are sharing simple things: happiness, appetite for life, smiles, and simplicity.
When I came back from India, this travel put together with the other influences I already experienced lead my life to an unexpected twist and I am living it now.
Then by calling my business project Influences, I wanted to thank the philanthropists that help me build the experiences I encountered.
